"In August 2020 I started experiencing pain in my upper abdomen, pain so severe it would cause sleepless nights, constant vomiting and nausea. I was referred to a gastroenterologist who took numerous scans, even biopsies and they couldn't seem to fine any cause of pain, I was then referred to the pain clinic and had two rounds of steroid injections 6 months apart and still pain every day, disrupting every aspect of my life. I was referred to a surgeon who said he couldn't help and I was referred back to another gastroenterologist. I decided to seek alternative treatment. I found Anita online and booked in. A little information was needed for her to see if it would possibly help me. After meeting I felt listened to. And I was made to feel comfortable, after the first treatment my pain reduced so much I was able to sleep for the first time in two years without waking up numerous times due to pain. I've had a total of 7 appointments and my pain has gone from a 10 down to a 1 or 2. I'm able to start living again. My friends and family can see such an improvement in my mood and mobility. I was quite cynical and not really convinced acupuncture would work for me. If it wasn't for Anita, I'm not sure where I'd be. Most likely still in pain. I would and have recommended her to others. She has honestly helped me live my life again. I can see light at the end of the tunnel for the first time in years and it is all thank to Anita"

Thank you for everything you have done for me, in a desperate search for help I came across your page and felt you might be just the person I was looking for and you most certainly were.
For those people suffering with facial paralysis - please look into the treatments that Anita offers as they have worked brilliantly for me. I owe a huge amount to Anita who made me feel more like myself at a time I felt completely lost.
After a short illness in Feb, I was hospitalised in early March whilst 25 weeks pregnant and ultimately diagnosed with Guillian Barre Syndrome. I was lucky enough to only suffer a mild version but was left with bilateral facial paralysis.
The hospital and physio teams offered me lists of exercises to do with my face to help regain movement as my speech and eating/drinking were affected but I found these impossible with no movement whatsoever.
Anita used electoracupuncture to help stimulate the nerves in my face. She was clear that we may need a few sessions to see some improvement but incredibly we began to see movement after the very first!
I continued to see Anita weekly until I gave birth and saw improvement after each session. The help Anita offered, meant that I was now able to start practicing some of the physio exercises given by the hospital.
Anita is not only fantastic at her job but also incredibly kind and empathetic, she listened to all my concerns and pin pointed specific areas to work on. Each session was customised and altered depending on the situation that day.
